Battle of the Books

Since 2020, the Panola Campus has hosted an annual Battle of the Books.

In this event, students read selections from the Texas Bluebonnet Award list (grades 3–5) or the Texas Lone Star Award list (grades 6–8), then compete at the campus level in teams of four students plus one alternate. In previous years, due to federal regulations on social distancing, students could only compete at the campus level. Now, we hope to send our top teams to compete against other Trinity Basin Preparatory campuses in a district level competition.
